Welcome | Living Organisation | Living Organiser | Life Quotient

The idea behind the seven Life Quotient Questionnaires in this book is to help you assess where you are now in something that approximates to an IQ rating. You will appreciate that an IQ of 100 is average. An IQ of 280 would be on the level of a galactic genius! It is possible that your organisation may well be at the galactic genius end of the bell curve when it comes to Life Quotient. For this reason, each questionnaire has a possible maximum of 40 marks - giving a top potential. I have assumed, at this early stage of research, that most individuals and institutions are only realising a quarter of their potential as Living Organisations, therefore a total score of 100 will be taken as our arbitrary average. Greater accuracy and specificity will come with time - and you can be part of our honing process.

The statements are deliberately generalised, even vague since this is meant to be your subjective assessment of your present position. Students of logic and grammar will also notice that there are often two or more qualifying positions in one statement. This is to give more context to the statement, making it more likely that you will give a valuable response. The Life Quotient is offered as a starting point and measuring tool to help you get to where you would rather be. Take it in that light, and you will find it invaluable. Its purpose is encouragement, so, if you or your organisation have a mark of less than 100, do not be dismayed - set immediate improvement goals and tick off your progress. You should be able to clock up extra points within three weeks.

Process: You may give each question up to 4 marks. '0' would represent not true for you/your organisation; '1' would be rarely true; '2' would be somewhat so; '3' would be generally true for your organisation most of the time; '4' means the statement is a good description of you/your organisation.
